It has one bedrooms as well as two bedrooms apartments. I stayed in a two bedrooms suite with 2 bathrooms, living ares and kitchen it costed Bhatt 2.150/= per day.
If you wish to stay longer, try and negotiate rate with them

Question by JOE P: my wife is Thai and we are looking for beach property that we can buy?
we do not want a tourist town because they are expensive and too crowded. a town close to a tourist is preferred and since we live in Udon areas south would be preferred because of easy access. any ideas, suggestions would be greatly appreciated. the land does not have to be beachfront and even a old home that we can fix would be an option. thanks

My wife’s Thai too, and I’m looking for the same thing you do. It’ll cost a fortune if it is a house. But, you can buy condo in Pattaya, Chomtien, Hua Hin and Cha-am for a lot less, pretty much the same cost as Bangkok. Say a good size of 100 M2 is around 3.5- 5 million baht.

November through March is popular with many tourists because the countries they come from are cold! When it is cold in North America and Northern Europe tourists flock to the warm areas! This is the time Thailand gets their greatest concentration of tourists.

Since you can not change mother nature and make some countries cold during Thailand’s off season then you have to make Thailand more attractive to lure the tourist dollar!

More advertising in the off season, more specials from big name hotel chains, cheaper flights to Thailand would help too! Thai Air, the national carrier, is one of the highest priced airlines flying the friendly skies! Thai Air could fly out of more cities in the world, perhaps a second national carrier for international flights would help too!

Tourist money is important for the support of historic landmarks, support of national parks and even upkeep of the beaches that attract so many visitors to Thailand.

Personally I like the off season, hotels are less expensive and with fewer crowds of tourists everywhere you go , your “Thai” experience is more unique when there are less tourists surrounding you!

Perhaps some additional advertising to ease tourist fears about the rainy season making your holiday a washout will help. So often tourists think of a “rainy season” as full time rain, hour after hour, day after day and all over Thailand at the same time – with no sunshine! This is wrong, when it rains it usually stops in an hour or so, often it rains at night – there is plenty of sunshine during the day for tourists to get a tan they can show their friends back home!

Cheaper flights, better advertising telling tourists even the rainy season is okay, more cooperation with chain hotels for special offers will help. Perhaps a casino between Bangkok and Pattaya will draw more tourists. Casinos have their supporters and detractors but right now many Thais head for “other” countries to throw their money away – perhaps they could also lose their money in Thailand and help their own country!
